Sunday in Apollo Bay

Woke up to a very bleak morning, it was raining. Instead of moping about in the caravan, we went out for breakfast, not a lot of places to choose from, so we ended up in a nice little bakery.

After our meal, we went for a drive through the rainforest which is part of the Great Otway National Park. We ended up stopping at Hopetoun Falls, which plummeted 30 metres into the Aire River. You can view the falls from an upper platform, or you can walk down 200 steps to the base of the falls, walking through glades of tree ferns.

After we visited the falls we stopped at Lavers Hill for lunch and then headed back to the caravan park.Læs mere
