Adventure Bay Bruny Island

Adventure Bay is known for its beautiful 7km long and sheltered beach, surrounded by large gum trees with views through to the soaring dolerite cliffs of Fluted Cape. There are many things to do in Adventure Bay, such as scenic boat cruises, watersports, fishing, bushwalking and visiting the delicious raspberry farm.

At one point there was coal mining in Adventure Bay from 1876 to 1981. Coal seams can still be seen in the water and on the cliffs near Coal Point.Read more
