    Wollomombi Falls are the tallest in New South Wales, with the water plummeting 260 metres into the Chandler River. At times, the water flow can be intermittent, depending on the rainfall.

    The gorge is absolutely spectacular, and the falls are quite impressive when the water is in full flow. There was very little water flowing today when we visited, and the sun was in the wrong position for the best photograph, but it was still impressive.
