Wallaman Falls is 269 metres high, and its height above sea level is 540 metres. I really enjoyed the drive up to the falls; the scenery was beautiful the whole way. There were even signs stating to watch out for cassowaries, but we didn’t see any. We did come across some cattle on the road.

As Australia’s tallest single-drop waterfall, the views are absolutely spectacular, and the gorge is stunning. We didn’t do the hike down, as the views from the top viewing areas were impressive enough, and the waterfall is quite fascinating to watch.
