Malanda Falls

A pretty little waterfall, which has a swimming area at its base, is surrounded by a lovely picnic area.

The Falls was a popular swimming and picnic spot for service personnel during the war years. Australian troops upgraded the pool at the base of the Falls and built a
level platform and diving tower, which has been removed.

The pool has had some upgrades and additional stairs have been added to the swimming area.Read more
