It’s a cool rainy day…perfect for chasing down problems!

The displays weren’t talking to each other because a network plug somehow got un-plugged. I suppose enough boat motion could pull out the spring loaded tab on a RJ45 connector, but I haven’t seen that before.

The helm 12v lighter plug had a connector pulled off the back. The builder unfortunately made that wire (a lot of others) only long enough to barely reach, so I couldn’t replace the connector. So I bypassed it with two replacement wires from the fuse box under the helm. Still dead by multimeter in the socket, but has 11.6v at the terminal blades. Total three hours…there is a lot of wiring in that compartment. I’ll order a replacement from Amazon and arranged to have it shipped to a Harbor Host in Sturgeon Bay who agrees to accept it.
