02.01 Day 108 . . . A Day At The Table

Well, we are now showing our age, as the last couple of days have really caught up on all of us. I woke about 9am and then dozed until Tre woke about an hour later. We decided to stay in bed snoozing until we heard Craig and Kate moving around upstairs in their bedroom. So at midday we were all finally up and sitting in the kitchen/diner chatting and having some brekkie.
We carried on chatting until the subject of the evening meal menu came up. We opted for a lasagne and some other bits and so after a short while Craig, Tre and I ventured out to go get supplies in Aignan. Food bits purchased we returned and again sat chatting and drinking more vino.
Kate’s chilli infused lasagne was bloody lovely in the early evening - just what we all needed. Now totally stuffed we continued to just sit and chat and catch up. We hadn’t moved from the table all day apart from the visit to Aignan.
Midnight came upon us and we all folded - completely whacked and belly’s full we all hit our beds.
A brilliant day of doing nothing but sharing time with great friends.
