    Dog Island, Florida

    September 7, 2015 in the United States ⋅ 🌙 24 °C

After sailing/cruising for 10hours we finally made it to Dog Island which is near Carabelle. We are anchoring a night here. Honey says the weather looks iffy out on the Gulf so we will wait to see how it looks tomorrow morning. The Intracoastal to Carabelle area was really exciting though! It was a different scenery than the Gulf of Mexico, more like sailing through a narrow swamp than a huge chunk of water "the gulf." We had to go under 65+ feet high bridges which was scary BUT our sailboat mast is 55 feet tall so we were good! :) God is good!Read more
