Day 18: 100 kph winds

Yesterday we were warned by a German guy that today would be 100 kph winds and that we shouldn't go. But we and Johan, a french guy we met the day before, gave it a try. The wind was the worst that we have had so far. Every 500 m we were blown into the gravel next to the road. But somehow we managed to make 50 km and found a place to stay. Since we heard the wind is gona be even worse tomorow we decided to go to El Calafate before pushing on to El Chalten. We start riding at 6 tomorow so hopefully the wind is still sleeping.Leia mais
