Day 70: Sleeping on a volcano

Yesterday Johan came to visit us in Pucon. So we celebrated with a bbq with beer and a lot of really bad jokes. It was a lot of fun to see him again after more than a month. Today we went to vulcano. We cycled to a private farm 40 km and 1000 m climbing from Pucon. There we could park our bike and most of our stuff. The lady told us it was already really late and that it was better to go tommorow. But we went anyway annd climbed the vulcano in 3 hours instead of 4. Just in time for the sun to set. We found a place for our sleeping bags and explored the slippery sides of the crater. Not having a tent with -2 on a windy vulcano with a incredible view was one of the most incredible experiences so far.Baca lagi
