Day 3: first day of cycling

First day of cycling. We did 74 km and found an amazing place to camp with a french couple who is roughly doing the same route as we do.
Day 4: windy day

Day 5: Crosswinds all day long

Day 7: diner at Maria Jose

After pending 9 hours on the bike and doing only 60 km we arived at jose's farm. He welcomed us and cooked diner. Some sheep meat with rice. Great day again! Hopefully the wind will be less tomorow.
Day 8: Dusty gravel roads

Day 9: finally some asphalt

After 5 days on the road without any towns we finaly arrived in porvenir. Just in time for our dwindling water and food suplies. Now finally a nice shower. Tomorow wr take the ferry to punta arenas.

Left, right, front and back. Wind was everywhere today. We missed the intended bordercrossing into Argentina. So we decided to take the next one. Found an open gate. So thats were we camp today.

Day 19: We beat the wind

Got up at 5 to be in El Calafate. We did the 42 km in 2 hours. Being in a town on 8 in the morning on a sunday it was hard to find a place for coffee. Now it is time for a hostel.

We stayed for 3 nights at the casa di ciclista. Was great fun. We cooked dinner for 30 hungry cyclist and dit some hiking.
