Dublin

Today has been good, despite still missing luggage. We toured the book of Kells, which included the long library. Uncle Dennis, upon seeing the library, exclaimed, "I think this is what heaven looks like." Too true.

After that we did the hop on hop off tour, went to the national art gallery (which was sadly mostly closed due to remodeling), Merrion Square to visit Oscar Wilde, St. Stephen's green, and the noisy Temple Bar area.

Now we are putting our feet up a bit to get a second wind. Unfortunately, there is a rather LOUD music festival going on in the square outside our apartment so it's not a quiet rest.Leia mais
