Mission begins!

The clear skies from last night have disappeared. Got to pack up in the grey damp. Ugh, some soup first.

I get going because I am on a mission today. My air mattress popped it's baffles on the first night. The mattress is 10+ years old and was already popping, but I thought I could use it for a while. Yup, half a night. Thanks Obama.

Sleeping on an incline is hard, but luckily I'm a pro. Decided to get a new mattress - after having just gotten a new tent the last evening! The next good outdoor shop is nearly 100 km away!Read more
