    I decided to turn off and ride along the Danube. A classic bike path much loved, turned out to be my ordeal. Constant headwinds with strong gusts make any ride hard. And then I went away from the bike path, and got lost through slushy paths through forests. Sandals were put to the test again.

    For bushland adventures, no need to go to the Serengeti. Put on your sandals and ride into 50 km wind gusts on wet mud.    Read more
