Lai da Palpuogna

Climbing past Preda, I came upon this beautiful lake that Sarna had tipped me about. Fed by fresh snowmelt pouring in a rage over the rocks, the water was clear and cold. I found a cozy spot for my tent and sat down to have another picnique magnefique as the sun set in the gap between the two mountains.

I woke up to be accosted by Daniel, who was very friendly and spoke passionately. He spoke to me of the Bahia faith, its philosophy and how there are only 1400 of them in Switzerland. He had lived 15 years in China and was now back here... All this while I was still packing my tent and walking back on to the road.
