White haze

A second day of the heat wave, with weather warnings of 35⁰ C at the peak. I rode out past noon from Vipava, and took a rather less gravelly road that went up this hill and down that other.

This day was a white hot haze. I think I took just the one photo. I remember jumping into water each time I saw a river - but it wasn't often enough. I was feeling dizzy in the evening. I found a forest in Karst - this is the region that the rock gets its name from - and settled down to cool and sleep off the sunstroke.Læs mere
