After spending two full days in the Lakagigar area which is only accessible with an at least medium sized 4x4 today saw me at Fjaðrárgljúfur which is ten minutes away from the ring road #1. And that is where there are still loads of people. Almost overwhelming after seeing maybe half a dozen cars in the last 5 days and only speaking to one ranger for five minutes to pay the camping fee. And it rained most of the afternoon. But I had some time to test new gear in the morning and for the first time ever flew my drone with goggles in FPV (first person view) mode. Weird but cool 🤪.
