Cabin Bluff GA

Cabin Bluff is not a very exciting place, but it was a good anchorage for us and Pacific High, just a few miles up the river from the Cumberland Island park docks, past Kings Bay Submarine Base. Deep water and good holding, although the current really ripped as I found out when I jumped in and then when I surfaced, had to swim like hell to get back to Ashling. We launched kayaks and paddle boards and investigated the marsh line and the nearby boat launching area for the cabins on Cabin Bluff (a private getaway). We had fish jumping all over, and an alligator! Shallows got super shallow where oysters were growing.Leggi altro
