Free camping 🏕 tonight at Augathella. Followed the Warrego River and Al did some fishing 🎣 at our morning coffee ☕️ stop. Place of the "meat ant".....a quiet little town with a big campingLeggi altro

Travelled nth east on the Diamantina developmental road through Cooladdi and onto Charleville. Bush cp....no pets and no smokers. Al loves it! Visited the cemetery....had breakfast out....infoLeggi altro
The main attraction here is the Chicken races at the local hotel . Raising money for charity. Also visited the site of the Qantas crash back in 1927. Lovely kept town and very green and tropical.

We made it to the Queensland Border today 🥳 a 6 hour drive took us to a wee pub stay at Mungallala. Just a stop over night then up to Barcaldine tomorrow
CMCA Bush camp - $7/ night (1 vehicle & 2 people). Visited Royal Flying Doctor Service info centre; enjoyed stargazing at the Cosmos centre.
