Albany

Today we were all leaving Porongarup, with the young ones off camping in Hopetoun and we were heading to Albany.
Before checking into our motel, we did a short hike at Twin Creek Reserve. Finally found the slipper orchid. This place will be well worth going to in spring as the write up say that there were lots of variety of wildflowers to be found.
We had a restful afternoon post check in. Dinner was at the very well reviewed Tandoori Indian Restaurant. We went to the house on 137 Mueller Street, the largest and most spectacular Christmas lights house ever. The garden was lit with reindeer, Santa in the trees, the lawn had fairy lights, rose garden had 65 red roses as that was related to cystic fibrosis.
