Quaalup Day 4 Boxing Day

Boxing Day was Warrick's fishing expedition. We were told that Trigelow Beach had a good fishing spot near the rocks. We spent the day patiently waiting and were rewarded with 2 edible fish and one returned to sea because it was undersized. We had herring and maybe wild salmon but not sure because we couldn't identify the fish properly. Tasted fresh and good though.
On the way back to the campsite we saw a seal pup that was playful and looked rather stranded. Warrick gently shooed the seal back into the water. Otherwise it looked like it was going to sleep on the 4WD track.Læs mere
