Drive to Quaalup Homestead

We have started our trip to celebrate Kai's 30th birthday. We travelled from Perth to Quaalup Homestead via Wagin. Ruby and I stopped at the town of Williams on route as we were too early to rendezvous with Kai and Warrick in Wagin. Williams had an opshop that we had to visit.
We met up for lunch at the Palace Hotel, Wagin. Due to "shrinkflation", Ruby and I found the portions had shrunk so much that sharing a pub meal between 2 of us was not quite enough, but sharing 2 meals between 3 is sufficient. A pint of beer was $12.

Kai booked a chalet of Ruby and me withour own very flushing toilet, shower and well equipped kitchen.
The stars put on a lovely show tonight and we even saw Saturn with her rings without a binoculars. .Read more
