Peppermint Beach

We had a nice slow start to the day with coffee then breakfast. After breakfast, we decided to spend the day at Peppermint Beach. It takes an hour to get there on windy, bumpy 4WD tracks that is both bush and beach tracks. It is both thrilling and exhilarating to rodeo ride through beautiful tracks that hugs the inlet, the sand dunes and waves.
The last time we were at Peppermint Beach, two years ago, we could count on one hand the number of vehicles on the beach. Today was teeming with 4WDs, quad bikes, and roaring motorcycles. Our quiet day at the beach was rudely interrupted by spluttering motorcycles and crossing from our beach tent to the sea required one to look left, look right and left again.
Because the tide was high, we had to take an alternative, longer route back to Quaalup Homestead.
