Fishing hole and peppermint bavh

We were out of the chalet before dawn to the fishing hole near Pt Anne. It's a good 40min 4WD drive to get to the fishing spot.
At 730am, they had caught 10 fish. 6  herring, and 2 skippies ( trevally ).We had an amazing bbq fish meal for lunch when we got back.
After lunch Ruby and I stayed at the homestead while the 4 kids went with Warrick to learn the skills of 4WD driving.
At the homestead we saw dark bushfire smoke from the Bremer Bay fire that wasn't anywhere near us. The sight of the smoke was scary.
Alexa made a lovely vegetarian sweet potato salad for dinner with some of her home grown vegetables. It was delicious!もっと詳しく
