We woke up at 4am to go on a tiny boat to the Cai Rang floating market ~ Mekon Delta which Can Tho is famous for. A little Vietnamese woman drove the boat and didn’t speak a word of English but she was very sweet. At one point we got wedges between a palm tree and a big barge so we had to help pull the boat through.
We also went to a rice noodle factory to see how noodles were made. I had a go at feeding them into a machine to make the noodles!Read more
