Kaikoura to Nelson

Thomas had an early start and went this morning to a whale watch tour. And lucky him he did not only see the sleep whale as we did yesterday, but also Orcas and a couple of different dolphin species!! He was so happy and yes, driving to Kaikoura was quite a detour, but so worth it.

Today we wanted to go as near as possible to Abel Tasman Nationalpark and decided to stop in Nelson for the night and fill up our groceries the next morning.
