DC @ Logan circle historic district

    July 24, 2016 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 33 °C

In 1920s Shaw's U Street has been a vibrant center of African Americans. Full of jazz, meeting points, theaters and other establishments. The city part lost a bit if its glamour due to desegregation taking the customers to other chick parts of the city. Today it seems to me that the district has a lot to offer and the atmosphere is not gone. (for sure not in the evenings)
    ***
V 20tych rokoch U Ulica v časti Shaw bola aktívne Afroamerické centrum plné jazzu, divadiel, rôznych obchodov a iných. Táto štvrť stratila trochu svoje čaro po desegregácií, keď zákazníkov priťahovali viac iné štvrte (predtým nepovolené). Dnes má podľa mňa táto štvrť čo ponúknuť a určite jej nechýba atmosféra.(určite nie počas večerov)
