Sihanoukville - not worth a visit unless travelling through to islands. Taken over by Chinese, construction sites everywhere and skyscrapers.

Siem Reap - has changed massively since I came 20 years ago. Roads are far better and tons of restaurants / bars. However prices have stayed relatively low. $3 for a meal, 50c for a beer. Though triple that for Pub Street.

Cambodian People are absolutely lovely!

Language isn't as hard as it looks for the basics and they really appreciate it as few tourists make the effort.

Money:
All prices are in dollars. Usually get change in Riel but would recommend just taking / withdrawing dollars.
There is a standard fee for ATM withdrawals of $5.
No credit card charges for 2 transactions we made.
Moreta app didn't work - said it was temporarily down in Cambodia however lots of QR codes around.
