Let's say it like this...If you are looking for an Asian city that has plenty to offer from a cultural point of view and which will please your eyes with its charming corners and views...well, in this case, you are better off skipping Manila from your list.

However, there is one corner in this sea of concrete, where you can still find buildings dating back to the Spanish colonial time which lasted from 1565 to the end of the 19th century. Intramuros, as the name suggests, is completely surrounded by the old Spanish city wall and indeed quite pretty...well, pretty to the degree that I forgot to take pictures of the buildings.Read more
