13.15 San Augustin (Chaquirá)

My last stop in Colombia was San Augustin, famous for its indigenous engravings and statues. Several hundred years ago, these tribes lived in this region and went all over the place with their handcraft. Unluckily the damn french guy who bought the place (how ever he did that), raised the entry fees to 57.000 pesos, which is almost 30$US. That #@£f]€~-£4&sm’)£(. So didn’t visit the main sight, but rather another one called Chaquirá; And yes pronounced like the singer.
It was still nice and the view spectacular, although the pictures can’t reflect it properly.Läs mer
