La Sal Mountains Camping

We wanted to escape the heat in Moab again and we did an awesome job of it at over 8000' elevation near La Sal Mountains Overlook. We had an amazing view into Castle Valley and of the multicolored gambell oaks and aspens on the mountains. The wind was strong on Saturday but we managed a 3 mile hike. It picked up overnight, rattling the bus and humming through the muffler. It was 40 degrees F and raining as we left in the morning. Total 34 miles.Читать далее
