Syncline Loop @ Canyonlands NP

We enjoyed breakfast at the Upheaval Dome parking area and started clockwise on the Syncline Loop at 9 am. They NPS really didn't want us to go down the 8.3 miles but it was absolutely amazing even with the 1500' elevation change. Beautiful canyons, even found a water seep and large chunks of petrified wood left for other visitors to enjoy. It started sprinkling on our way up. After enjoying pasta leftovers it was raining on the way out. So glad we didn't leave items at last campsite down clay road!Read more
