Adieu desert!

Cycling nearly 1000 kilometers through the desert was certainly a new challenge. But I really enjoyed it after a few days. The kindness and hospitality of the people along the road did not stop. It has made the whole endeavor very pleasant.

I was hoping to spot one of the endangered Asiatic cheetah. My route has led me right through their territory. But there are only very few left and chances are extremely little to face one. Instead I have sighted other wildlife such as camels, scorpions and a desert fox.Читать далее
