Upgraded to a hybrid, then drove to Falkirk for a bed.
Awoke to chilly morning air giving a glow to our skins
Revisited an old favourite, the impressive Kelpie twins.
Drove through the Trossachs past sultry Lomond Ben
Viewed a misty viaduct which spans over Ogle Glen.

Low clouds rolled in accompanied with a downpour.
Journeyed alongside lochs with grey waters like glass
The semi submerged STILL statue we couldn’t bypass.

Because those mountain fed waters are mightily cold.
Returned back via the small village of Saint Fillan
Onto Dochart Falls that flow through nearby Killin.
At the smokehouse devoured the smoked salmon plate
Complimented with Scottish raspberry gin made it great.
Kilchurn Castle once belonged to the Clan Campbell
Whose ruins aside Loch Awe made for a pleasant ramble.
