Isle of Mull

By vehicular ferry took the car over to Craignure
On the Isle of Mull we made a self driving tour.
Up to Tobermory well known for it’s distilleries
Onto Mull Isle dairy to sample famed cheeses.

Passed abandoned boats decaying in sandy beds
Woods full of bluebells, nodding their fragrant heads
Walked to a waterfall flowing through rocky ravines
Warmed up with Cullen Skink & tasty langoustines.

Durch Castle stands proud to all weather exposed
Grabbed a scone & tea in the cafe before it closed.
Back in Oban viewed McCaigs Tower that’s unfinished
Yet it’s grand circular presence definitely not diminished.Read more
