Day Two

Billie was up early of course, we went to have breakfast. A pretty good spread, free coffee and even a kids area.
Afterwards we went to the pool and hired a cabana for $20. We spent the morning swimming and then Darcie and I went to have a nap 😴 Q and Billie went to the kids club, then Billie stayed there for a bit while Q went to the shops. Lazed around for a bit then Billie fell asleep so Q went to the gym and Darcie & I had a bath 🛁 afterwards the kids went for another swim then we rushed back to the room to get ready and go to the chocolate hour. Afterwards we went for dinner and then all to bed. We all fell asleep pretty quickly.Read more

Day Three

Can't remember what time we got up but got ready and went to breakfast. I sat a bit longer to finish my coffee and by the time I came out, the girls were already in the kids pool 😂👙🏊🏼‍♀️ I went to get changed and then we all went over to the big pool where the inflatable obstacle course was. Eventually we got out and went back to the room. Q stayed Darcie so she could nap, Billie and I went to the kids club then the Movenpick cafe. Came back to the room and we decided to get a taxi to the supermarket to get some things. We went to the chocolate hour again from 4-5pm, back to the room to get changed to go swimming again this time we went near the waterpark. Back to the room for proper showers and headed off to dinner, we went to Wahaha pork place, pretty good. Afterwards the girls danced in the area where they do the cultural show. Then Darcie did a huge 💩 so back to the room. In bed by 830! All fast asleep.Read more

Day Four

Billie wanted to sleep in but eventually woke her up to go get breakfast. We then went for a final swim before going back to the room for shower/bath and packing up. Driver picked us up at 12 noon to take us to the Segara Village Sanur. Our room wasn't ready so we went to get lunch, then walked to the new Icon mall to explore. Back to the hotel to check in and the girls & I naps. We then got ready to go out for dinner, hard to find something that we want vs what the kids will have. Went to the supermarket after dinner, then back to the room to chill. Girls finally sleep by 930ish.Read more

Day Five

Billie woke up early, got ready and went to breakfast, it was a pretty good spread but fairly busy. Kids were feral and Darcie threw her Crocs in the koi pond 🤦🏼‍♀️
Back to the room cos we were grumpy. Then decided to go to the eyewear shop so caught a gojek, did that then walked back through the mall to get the kids a burger. Back to the hotel for a swim. Q then took Darcie in the pram for a nap. Billie and I went out, she got her nails done and I got a massage. Back to the took to freshen up then went to dinner not far away which was nice but kids were a bit naughty, mainly Darce! Did a bit of shopping while waiting for our food. Back to the hotel for a quick swing then bed. Everyone is asleep but I'm awake still 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️Read more

Day Six

After breakfast we decided to hire bikes which were 30k for an hour, we rode along the beachfront away from the hustle and bustle. Did a bit of shopping, bought a drink and sat on the beach. We went back to the hotel and swam at the front pool, ordered satay and chips poolside for lunch. Back to the room for a nap, while Billie & Q went walkabout and swimming. For dinner we went to Segara Seaside.Read more

Day Eight

Went to breakfast, got a Maccas coffee delivery then went to the pool until 1030am. Back to the room to shower and pack up. Transfer picked us up at midday to go the Safari Park. Room wasn't ready unfortunately so we went into the park for the bus tour, have lunch, see a few animals and then went back to the room for Darcie to nap. About to get ready to go for dinner!
Dinner was nice, the lions loved to hang around us, now back in the room relaxing after a shower.Read more

Day Seven

This morning we dropped some washing off and then went to the Icon mall to go to a chemist. Both the girls had cuts on their legs so needed to get some heavy duty band-aids and antiseptic cream.
I took the girls for a swim as Q wasn't feeling well. Then took them back to the room so Darcie could nap and I zipped off for a massage. I got the girls McDonald's then we went for another swim. Q left to get the washing and the girls and I went back to have a bath. Q and Billie went to get McDonald's for dinner and Darcie & I headed back to the beachfront for dinner.Read more

Day Nine

Off to breakfast, the girls loved eating next to the lions this morning 🦁 I think we then went back to the room to grab what we needed. We went to do the bus loop then feed the elephants 🐘 then off to the waterpark to cool down as it rained in the morning, it was quite my muggy. After a play and swim, we went back to the room for Darcie to nap. Billie and I ordered room service pizza 🍕 Afterwards we went back to the park to watch the animal show and elephant show. Back to the hotel to freshen up and then dinner again with the lions 🦁Read more

Day Ten

Went to have breakfast next to the meerkats which Darcie loved, went back to the room to pack up, then went to feed the giraffes and meerkats. Got a message that the driver was early so went back to get our things and hit the road. Darcie fell asleep which was good as she doesn't seem 100%.
Traffic wasn't great so the drive probably took about an hour. We were lucky enough to be able to check in straight away. We got settled, ducked out to the mini mart to get snacks and back to the hotel for a swim.
A thunderstorm started rolling in so up to the room for a nice long hot shower. Then we went to dinner at the hotel restaurant once the rain stopped.
Back to the room as Darcie did a poo 💩 explosion so put her in the shower while Q and Billie went back to the shop to get a few things.
Got the girls ready for bed then I went to get a massage at 815pm. Back now and sitting in bed! 🛏️Read more

Day Twelve

Checked out at 12pm, nanny Asti came to hang with Billie while Q, Darcie and I went for a walk to the shops. Came back, got a taxi and moved to the Bali Mandira hotel, we couldn't check in as it was too early so we went to hang by the pool. Ordered chips and pizza which were lovely. 🍟🍕 Darcie was really tired so went to check in about 3/330pm. Not long after the doctor arrived to look at Darcie's sores and Q's ears. We then got ready for dinner, we went to Makan. Billie was overtired, Darcie was still powering on even though she never napped. We then went to Fresco for ice-cream, so delicious. Then back to the hotel to snooze!Read more

Day Thirteen

Went to breakfast this morning, pretty good spread. Once the nanny got here, Billie and her went swimming. Darcie, Q and I went for a walk to drop washing and go shopping. Darcie looked really flat and hot so we caught a taxi back. Billie and Asti were playing games near the pool, so they ordered some lunch. I took Darcie back to the room, then perked up and eventually fell asleep. Q went to suntan and Billie/Asti went to the kids club. Darcie napped for so long, and I eventually woke her up.
Q, Darcie and I then went to the pool to meet Billie/Asti there. It was time to say goodbye to Asti, Billie was very sad and cried for a while.
We then all went swimming, got a drink at the pool bar, a storm rolled in but we stayed in the pool but the majority left.
Eventually went back to the room about 5pm or later, showered and got ready for dinner. We went to a restaurant on the beach.
Billie was super tired (and probably dehydrated) so she just wanted to go home. We got their pizza takeaway and went back to the room. I went to get a facial and the kids were asleep before I even got to the spa!

Day Fourteen

Billie spewed in the night, so we had to move to the day bed to sleep. In the morning Billie wanted to keep sleeping but eventually got her out of bed and went to the Azul Beach Club for breakfast.
We then walked across to the beach to get an iced cappuccino. Back to the room for the kids to chill as they were both hot and bothered. Q went to get the washing. I stayed with the girls. Then Medy came to drop off some bags.
Q then took Billie to the kids club and I tried to get Darcie to nap but that didn't happen. We went to join them but Billie had an accident so back to The room to clean up.
We went to have lunch at Azul Beach club which was nice but expensive, the best bloody Mary though. Should have gone to the pool restaurant but forgot about it. Then back to the room to get sorted to go get our teeth whitened in Kuta. I went first so Q took the girls to get McDonald's. Then when he went we went to the Stroberi shop I wanted to go to.
Taxi back to the hotel and then just packed up and chilled.Read more

Day Fifteen

Wake up call at 600am... Both kids were grumpy, and I was hoping they'd sleep in until we were ready to go. Bell boy came to help with our luggage, The driver was early, Q went to breakfast to get some toast for us to eat in the car.
Didn't take too long to get to the airport, we couldn't even check in so we went to the coffee club to wait for half an hour. 815 came around so we checked in, went through security, immigration, and then the big maze of shops. Then moving multiple times to keep the kids entertained. We left on time, about 1 hour out there was a medical emergency, they asked for doctors and nurses, plenty on board luckily. ? dengue fever.Read more
