PodróżnikAmazing... it is such an enriching experience. I started mine exactly 2 yrs ago on 12th Sept. I am currently in Santiago for a reunion walk with some mates I met on my first Camino to do Camino Dos Faros. PS do walk the Meseta... don't take a bus!
PodróżnikThe 12th Sept, that's some coincidence. The number of people I speak to who have come back again and again is really interesting. Sounds like you caught the bug too. Hoping to walk every step, so hopefully no buses!
PodróżnikYou definitely get the bug and do something annually. What I would recommend is vaseline on your feet before your sock liner or toe socks (works for some) before your socks. And air your feet and socks everrytime you stop for a break. Helps prevent friction and blisters. Buen camino.
PodróżnikWell you need to get doing things at my age, you never know how long you can keep doing them for. Yes been putting vaseline on my feet each morning, only had one minor blister in a week, so happy with that. I'd be frightened to take my shoes off mid walk in case I couldn't get them back on!!
