Should have one of these down Oxford St.
The original train station.Looks like an old tram car, now used as a cafe at the disused train station.Disappointingly the happy hour was only on food and not the beer.A statue representing the founding of Bolivia in Plaza MurilloThere were a fair few of these old American Dodge minibuses still knocking about. They'll be building on those mountains in the background before long. The flats around the ground have a great view.Wherever there is space they'll put a house, even halfway up a mountain. No London white line unfortunately, but that car looks as though it's going through the treetops.Mural on the way up to the white line.Another mural at the top of the stairs.Everything colour coordinated, including the seating at this yellow and green interchange. The tennis club have managed to squeezed in eight courts in to a pretty tight space. The district line to the posh suburb of Calacoto, these are the first detached houses I've seen hereOver a ridge and then there is the whole new upmarket area of Calacoto and St Martin.Courtyard cafes, restaurants and bars, very different vibe and prices.Large homes with private grounds, very much more well to do than most of La Paz we've seen.It seems some of the areas have their own private security. The whole valley lit up.
