    Benalla seemed like a great place to stop and give Ace a run which he appreciated enormously.
    We had a delightful lunch at a very sophisticated cafe restaurant with an enormous variety of gluten and diary free food.
    We visited the Benalla Botanical Gardens and some of the war sculptures commemorating Edward “Weary” Dunlop.

    Benalla is a small city located on the Broken River gateway to the High Country north-eastern region of Victoria, Australia, about 212 kilometres (130 mi) north east of the state capital Melbourne. At the 2016 census the population was 9,298.
