Hentley Farm Estate

This was my favorite destination on the trip 🤓.
Firstly I thought that the wine was exceptional for such a young vineyard as the fruit vines are only 23 years old as compared to some in the Barossa that are @ 150 - 160 years old.
Secondly, the location was exquisite. Located in a little gully is the original old homestead cottage that has been fully restored as a tasting room and maintains its old word charm which transports you to another bygone era.
Thirdly, our hostess Ingrid was so knowledgeable about the region and the wine and was a consummate wine guide and host.Read more
