It is the location of the filming of many movies including: Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) , The Mummy (2017), The Cell (2000), The Fall (I) (2006), 10,000 BC (2008), The Amazing Race (2001– ), and Samsara (I) (2011) and the list goes on and on. Angelina Jolie has invested a lot of money here to support the area.
