You have seen the Petronas Towers in many TV and movie shots. This includes: 1999 film Entrapment, 1st episode of TV series 24, Don: The Chase Begins Again, 2002 The Amazing Race 3 and 24, Jackie Chan Adventures, Fair Game, 2016 film Independence Day: Resurgence, Phineas & Ferb episode, video games and album covers. We had such a fun experience today and it was an incredible view after a “false start” to get to the top in 2017 (but that’s another story).

You will see in our photos the Merdeka 118 or Independence Tower is just being completed in the next month and having its first tenants move in, is the second largest building in the World at 118 stories and 2,227 feet after the Burj Khalifa in Dubai at 2,717 feet. Note: The World Trade Center in NYC is #7 at 1,776 feet and the Empire State Building is still after 92 years #54. Until 1311 the Great Pyramid of Giza held the title of #1 tallest structure for 3,800 years.Read more
