For Lees birthday, we went to Las Vegas. Lee was anxious to drive (he never drives in NYC) and he had a good stint behind the wheel in our 4.5 drive. We started out at home at 72.9 degrees and then drove halfway to Vegas with a stop in the Mohave Desert and it was 106 degrees (but it was still early in the day).

BTW, we planned this trip around Lee joining us in CA and then going to Vegas to see Kelly Clarkson in Concert. We bought great seats and then the week before, Kelly had to sadly cancel all of her concert in Vegas in August.
