"Religion", Show, Dinner, Show

Today was a BUSY day. It began with Church for the holiday of Pentecost. Yes, I provided the homily/sermon and it was very fulfilling. Then I led the Shavuot Service and Brunch which everyone loved, thanks to our wonderful chefs that were willing to research and make Jewish "delicacies". This was followed by 3 lectures ("Luanda: Empire, Oil, Rhythm & The Atlantic Edge" with the Spears, and "An Introduction to AI: Understand its Forms & Dispel Common Myths" and "How Music Makes a Movie"-with Doug. The shows this evening included J.Alexander-"MisdirectionPerfection" (British comedy & magic) and "HEADLINERS" staring the VISTA Production Company. We liked the magic, a little different and loved Headliners (for the third time)! Somewhere in there we had an exquisite dinner at POLO (see photos)....good thing I stretched this morning.

For future reference: Captain-Luca Manzi, GM Evan Willemse, Executive Chef - Justin Nel (wont forget you), and Cruise Director Peter Roberts. Entertainers were: dancers Kat Smith, EJ Peel, Ed Tarshykov, Zin(ovii) Zhykaliak, Luca Guinid, Daniel DeRuvo, Esmee Neal, Laura Rennie. The singers: Isabella Fedele, Markesha Chatfield, Asher Patten and Nathan Muller.

Oh yes, there was a changing of the guard about this time with Captain Antun Loncarica, and GM Gabriel Ovesea taking charge.Read more
