This is the first of 5 out of the next 7 days at sea as we move up the West Coast of Africa. A good time to catch-up with friends, old and new, hear/learn from some great lectures and enjoy wonderful meals, music and shows. Today started like many, with some "movement" but had time for all three classes: stretch, abs and cycling and sing-out-loud. Lunch and music at the pool with Kristine and The Jaxtones (now good friends).

Three lectures were dispersed throughout the day: "High Concept/High Profit Movies"- Doug, "The Evolution of TV" - Mel, and "Sao Tome - Chocolate, Volcanos, a Small Capital and Large History "- M&J Sears.

We had dinner with Donna & Bob and caught up on everything since 2023. They wanted to know the process of moving from being homeless (last they had heard) to with-home so they could let their friends who followed our story know how it ended. The evening was filled with music with the quartet and piano and then a special first-time ever solo show, "Sing to Inspire", with Asher Patten (photos & video). He was great, you would think he performed this show a dozen times. And then late night with The Jaxtones with the "The Magic of Motown Music" was a great way to end a relaxing but long day.
