Als Abschluss hat uns heute Morgen Regen begrüsst. Wir haben ausgeschlafen, gemütlich gefrühstückt und dann begonnen unsere Sachen zusammen zu räumen.
Da unsere Fähre erst um 15 Uhr ging, hatten wir genügend Zeit um nochmals nach Sidney zu fahren. Dort haben wir Röbi's Fahrrad dem örtlichen Brockenhaus (Thrift Shop) gespendet. Mein "neues" Rad nehmen wir zurück in die Schweiz.
Die Fährüberfahrt dauerte 1:30 Std und war ereignislos. Hier am Festland haben wir uns durch dichten Verkehr gekämpft und den Campingplatz gesucht. Dieser ist mitten in der Stadt im Stadtteil Surrey und wirklich nur als Stellplatz für eine Nacht gedacht.
Da wir den ganzen Tag noch nichts gegessen haben, fahren wir zu Bosten Pizza 🍕 und geniessen einen Apérol Spritz (gibt's hier tatsächlich auch), Pizza und Bier .Read more

Clocks went ahead again this night, so woke up at 7:30. Sent out laundry for the last time and redeemed our HAL gift cards we bought in July. Since the bonus cards expire in June of next year it was suggested that we redeem them all and whatever we didn’t use would be refunded to the credit card in file.
Carolynne and I went to the spa then met the men for lunch around 1 pm. Tried to walk the Promenade deck but they were working and had an area blocked off so we sat outside aft on Lido in the sun. Went back to our room at 3 and napped til 4:45. Vic had gone to the Captain’s Q & A. He says to expect higher swells tomorrow and is trying to get around it tonight.
Dinner was lengthy this evening. Dressy night. Carolynne and I went to the spa in the evening. Vic planned to watch the rest of his movie. Nice way to end the day.Read more
