So a bit of a tough day with more steep downhill tracks. The scenery was amazing, again, with views forever.
Small mountain villages broke up the trail before we walked into a major city, Ponferrada.
The Templar castle was worth a visit and the town was in the middle of a week long celebration. We ended up at a traditional Italian (I know, we're in Spain) resistant and enjoyed some amazing food.
We wandered around the city enjoying the festival and was a bit late to bed.Read more

TravelerJust realised Lauren and I were there exactly the same time ! Lots of celebrations, markets , music and dancing . Great timing !!!
