Camino Day 17 - Villafranca del Bierzo

Left Ponferrada and started winding our way through this wine region. Fairly easy walking with only a couple of hills, but all through green vineyards and forests.
Today we took our time and stopped often, even having a long lunch on the way with a glass of wine.
Our booked albergue had a sign on the front door saying they had a death in the family so they were closed for a few days. That left us scanning for alternate lodgings which ended up being in a private room on the edge of town. All good.Leggi altro
