16 June 27km into Santiago

This was a big 27 km walk to the finish line. I was very focussed and set off without much delay and just plodded. I had heard reports that this last leg was ugly as it skirts Santiago Airport, but it was actually very pleasant - some road and traffic sections but also some forests. Made it in to the main square reasonably easily, then met up with Scott, Helen, Jota for a drink and dinner.Read more
