8 Jul Port de la Selva to Cadaques

Last day of walking but it was a long coastal one and it was going to be stifling hot. After a breakfast stuff up by the hotel we had a cortado, fresh oj and croissant in a square, then headed off up the mountain. We could see the observatory above Cadaques in the distance. We stopped at a few ruined houses for homous pita bread, then down lots of rocky gorges (and out again), out to the Cap de Creus lighthouse and the rock formationd made famous by Dali’s artwork. It was scorching by now as we traversed old walled stone paths, through olive groves and finally to Cadaques. Tapas lunch, then a rest before a dinner at El Balconnet of gazpacho, whole roast fish and lemon gelato. Buen noches.Читать далее
